Workshops and Tutorials at IEEE IATMSI 2026 are intended to provide participants with in-depth exposure to emerging research areas, tools, and technologies aligned with the themes of intelligent systems, AI, advanced modelling, simulations, and interdisciplinary innovations.
Workshops and Tutorials should:
- Introduce cutting-edge topics, tools, or methodologies relevant to the conference.
- Foster discussions, demonstrations, or hands-on activities.
- Provide participants with practical skills or deeper understanding of emerging trends.
- Encourage collaboration and interaction between academia, industry, and researchers.
Types of Sessions
A. Tutorials
- Tutorials are educational sessions delivered by domain experts.
- They should provide structured learning of fundamental or advanced topics.
- Tutorials may be half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours), depending on the content to be delivered.
- Hands-on tutorials are encouraged (software demonstrations, coding, simulations, etc.).
- A maximum of 4 people can be involved as resource person in one Tutorial.
B. Workshops
- Workshops focus on specialized, emerging, or niche research topics.
- They may include discussion panels, paper presentations, or demonstrations.
- Workshops can be half-day or full-day based on content and justification.
- A maximum of 5 people can be involved as resource person in one Workshop.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
All proposals must include the following:
General Information
- Title of Workshop/Tutorial
- Type (Workshop / Tutorial)
- Duration (Half-day / Full-day)
- Preferred Mode (Lecture, Hands-on, Panel discussion, Demo, etc.)
Description Required
- Abstract (150–200 words)
- Detailed description including goals and relevance to IEEE IATMSI 2026
- Session outline, timing, and schedule
- Proposed speakers and their expertise
- Hands-on requirements (software, hardware, datasets, etc.)
- Flyer of your Proposal.

Rules for Workshops/Tutorials
Eligibility
- Organizers must be active researchers or practitioners from academia/industry.
- At least one organizer must have prior experience in conducting similar sessions or a strong publication record in the topic.
- All organizer must deliver the session in offline mode.
Review and Acceptance
- All proposals will be reviewed by the Workshop/Tutorial Committee based on:
- Relevance to conference themes
- Quality and clarity of proposal
- Expertise of organizers and speakers
- Timeliness and potential impact
- Expected audience appeal
- Acceptance is competitive and limited based on program schedule.
Responsibility of Organizers
- Finalize program schedule and speaker list by the notified deadline.
- Promote their workshop/tutorial through networks and mailing lists.
- Manage all communications with participants.
- For workshops with papers: ensure timely and fair peer-review following IEEE standards.
- Submit final materials (slides, notes, proceedings, etc.) to the conference committee as required.
- Each Workshop/Tutorial will be conducted ONLY if a minimum of 20 paid registrations are received.
- The conference organizing committee will review registration counts two weeks before the event to determine viability.
Benefits for Workshop/Tutorial Organizers
Organizers of approved Workshops and Tutorials at IEEE IATMSI 2026 will receive the following benefits as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the conference:
- Travel Support: Eligible organizers will receive 3AC train travel reimbursement (as per institute and conference norms).
- Accommodation: Complimentary stay will be provided within the campus for the duration of the conference (subject to availability and prior confirmation).
- Conference Hospitality: Organizers will receive a special VIP Conference Kit, which includes premium conference materials and souvenirs.
- Access to conference sessions, networking events, and keynotes.
- Certificates: Each organizer will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation acknowledging their contribution and service to the conference.
- Additional Privileges: Priority consideration for future tutorials/workshops in subsequent editions of the conference.
- Recognition during the inaugural or valedictory sessions.
Registration & Attendance Rules
- All workshop/Tutorial attendees must register for the conference (Click here for the registration).
- The conference reserves the right to cancel a session if:
- Minimum number of participants is not met
- Organizers fail to submit required materials on time
- Non-compliance with IEEE or conference policies
- Participants can attend in online or offline mode.

- Notification of Acceptance: 5th Jan. 2026
- Final Program Submission: 10th Jan. 2026
- Conference Date (Day 1 Workshops/Tutorials): 12th March 2026
