IEEE IATMSI 2026 Simulation Excellence Award

The Simulation Excellence Award is instituted to recognize outstanding simulation-based research work presented at IEEE IATMSI 2026. This award aims to encourage high-quality simulation methodologies, modelling accuracy, validation standards, and innovation in computational research across all domains covered by the conference.

The objective of this award is to honor researchers who demonstrate exceptional simulation work that significantly supports, validates, or enhances the technical results of their research paper accepted in IEEE IATMSI 2026.

Who Can Participate?

  • Any author of a submitted or accepted paper in IEEE IATMSI 2026 is eligible.
  • Both students and professionals (academia or industry) may apply.
  • Single author or team of authors (as per paper authorship) can participate.
  • Simulation work must be directly related to the paper submitted to IATMSI 2026.
  • Paper must be submitted/accepted to IEEE IATMSI 2026.
  • Applicants must showcase their simulation during the conference (live/demo/video).
  • A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Supervisor / Head of Department shall be uploaded along with the award application form (mandatory for student applicants).
  • Simulation must be original and developed by the authors (use of licensed tools is allowed).
  • Multiple authors of the same paper may apply jointly (only one award per paper).

  • Last date of Registration: 20th Feb 2026 (Firm deadline, no further extension)
  • Date of Simulation Showcase: 13th March 2026.
  • Announcement of Award Winners: 14th March 2026 (In the Valedictory Ceremony of the Conference)

Note: The presentation for the Simulation Excellence Award will be conducted in person during IEEE IATMSI 2026 at ABV-IIITM Gwalior, India.
Each participant will be required to deliver a 15-minute oral presentation at the conference venue as part of the evaluation process.

Submission and Registration Guidelines:

  • The required contents for the registration are:
    • Title (limited to 20 words)
    • Abstract clearly outlining the simulation work
    • At least 5 keywords
    • At least 3 major research findings
    • Brief explanation of Simulation setup i.e. Flowchart.
    • Demo of Simulation (can include the video demo); Can Share the Drive Link or GitHub link.
    • Author qualifications and experience
  • Times New Roman font with a minimum 10pt size
  • Consent letter from your thesis supervisor/Institute (can submit in any format)

  • Resource Sharing and Logistics Support Charges: Rs. 3500/- or USD 90.
  • IEEE IATMSI 2026 Simulation Excellence Award registration to be done online, and payment in Indian Rupees (₹) & US Dollars ($) is only accepted.
  • Registration will commence from 1st November 2025, and will be closed on 20th February 2026 by 5 pm as per the Indian Standard Time.
  • For any registration category, no refunds will be made in any case.
  • Registration fees include a registration kit, a Presentation slot, one day of Refreshments (Morning and Evening), and 1 Lunch.
  • Stay and Dinner are not included in the Registration Fees. Stay may be provided on a payment basis, subject to availability.  
  • An additional amount of Rs. 500 will be charged for an accompanying person for the food at the registration desk.

Awards:

  • Best two Simulations will be awarded (Cash Prize / Honorarium) along with a certificate of appreciation.
  • Other submitted and registered participants will receive a certificate of participation.
