Got a bold hardware idea? Hardnovate is your stage! Present your working hardware prototype under one of our six exciting themes and compete with the brightest minds for recognition, prizes, and opportunities

What is Hardnovate?

Hardnovate is a national-level hardware innovation contest where engineering minds, makers, and tinkerers bring their prototypes to life. Whether it’s robotics, IoT, healthcare tech, or sustainable solutions — if you can build it, you can showcase it!

Themes

Participants can submit projects under any one of the following themes:

1. Smart Mobility & Transportation
2. IoT-Enabled Healthcare & Biomedical Devices
3. Agritech & Rural Innovation
4. Sustainable & Green Technology
5. Smart Wearables for Safety
6. Disaster Management & Emergency Response

Who Can Participate?

• High school students aged 16 and above.
• College Students (UG/PG/PhD)
• Startups & Innovators
• Independent Makers & Hobbyists
• A Team with maximum of three members is allowed.

Note: Only working hardware prototypes are allowed. No paper presentations or simulations. You have to make a poster for your project. The poster template with instructions can be found here (Click Here).

Registration Link & Guidelines:

• Resource Sharing and Logistics Support Charges: Rs. 3500/- Per Team.
• IATMSI-2026 Hardnovate Contest registration can be done online, and payment in Indian Rupees (₹) is only accepted.
• Registration will commence from 15^th October 2025, and will be closed on 20^th February 2026 by 5 pm as per the Indian Standard Time.
• For any registration category, no refunds will be made in any case.
• Registration fees include a registration kit (one kit for one team), Poster slot, Refreshments (Morning and Evening) and 1 Lunch.
• Stay and Dinner are not included in the Registration Fees. Stay may be provided on a payment basis, subject to availability.   
• An additional amount of Rs. 500 will be charged for an accompanying person for the food at the registration desk.
